Teacher development and curriculum development in physical education; standards, assessment and accountability; non-conventional physical activity programs and pedagogies for children and youth in a variety of communities and school settings. To prepare physical activity professionals for new realities in schools and communities (especially in underserved communities) I believe we need new approaches to curriculum, instruction and policy research and development.
