Adelphi Welcomes New Faculty and Administrators
Adelphi faculty appointed for fall 2006

Nearly 40 new faculty members have been appointed for fall 2006, bringing the total number of full-time faculty members to 296. "It's a pleasure to welcome such a talented and diverse group of teachers and scholars to Adelphi," said Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs Marcia G. Welsh. "They join Adelphi's other outstanding faculty members in contributing their knowledge and creativity to the classroom and their respective fields."
Adelphi also begins the fall 2006 semester with four newly appointed administrators: Jean Lau Chin, dean of the Gordon F. Derner Institute of Advanced Psychological Studies; Shawn O'Riley, University College executive director; Richard Rotanz, the University's first special advisor to the provost for emergency management programs; and Michael Stepniak, associate dean of performing arts.
