We are committed to advancing the field of psychology by diligently equipping students to excel in their academic endeavors. Internships play a crucial role in enhancing students\u2019 understanding and experience in clinical, school, and\/or research environments.<\/p>\n

As part of their academic journey, psychology majors must engage in a Senior Experience Applied (SEA) course, where internships serve as valuable opportunities to fulfill degree requirements.<\/p>\n

How to Start Your Internship<\/h2>\n
    \n
  1. Students must submit an <\/span>internship application<\/a>.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. As part of the application, a <\/span>letter of recommendation<\/a> must be <\/span>submitted for the student from a chosen recommender (see details in the application<\/a>)<\/em>.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Upon approval for the course, students seek out their own internships, interview for their desired internship, and inform the faculty internship mentor about their placement details. They will either approve the internship or inform the student if it isn\u2019t suitable.<\/li>\n
  4. If offered, the student accepts the internship position.<\/li>\n
