The new FSA ID\u2014which is composed of a user-selected username and password\u2014allows students, parents, and borrowers to authenticate their identity to access their federal student aid information.<\/p>\n<p>As of May 10, 2015, when you visit one of the federal student aid websites (<a href=\"https:\/\/studentaid.gov\/h\/apply-for-aid\/fafsa\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">FAFSA\u00ae<\/a>,<span> <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/nsldsfap.ed.gov\/login\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">NSLDS Student Access<\/a>,<span> <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/studentaid.gov\/understand-aid\/types\/loans\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Federal Student Loans<\/a>,<span> <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/studentaid.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Student Aid<\/a>, etc.) you will be required to use an <a href=\"https:\/\/studentaid.gov\/help-center\/answers\/article\/fsa-id\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">FSA ID<\/a> instead of the Federal PIN.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"gold-headline\">Forms and Worksheets<\/h2>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/studentaid.gov\/h\/apply-for-aid\/fafsa\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">FAFSA\u00ae<\/a> must be completed to qualify for financial aid from Adelphi and the government.<\/p>\n<p>After you file your FAFSA\u00ae, we may need further information if indicated by the federal government.
