Grades represent the instructor\u2019s evaluation of student competencies and course performance. Grades assigned by Adelphi instructors conform to University standards, policies, and procedures. Each instructor will inform students of applicable grading standards for a course. Students may review the material submitted to the instructor for evaluation, such as that student\u2019s papers and examinations. At the end of each semester, grades are given in semester courses.<\/p>\n

Instructors submit grades to the One-Stop Student Services Center within 48 hours of the scheduled final exam.<\/p>\n

Grading System<\/h2>\n

Adelphi has a letter grading system. Passing grades, in rank order, are A, B, C, D, and P (Pass). Failing grades are designated with F. D grades are not awarded in graduate classes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
