Elected to the Adelphi Board of Trustees in March 2012 and was named Outstanding Alumnus at Adelphi’s 2012 President’s Gala.

This past March, Adelphi elected Patrick S. Smalley ’86 to the Board of Trustees. Mr. Smalley is the executive vice president and managing director of MCH Group LLC—developers, owners and managers of hospitality and apartment real estate. In his executive capacity, Mr. Smalley has managed the real estate company Fairhaven Properties Inc., which generates annual revenues in excess of $50 million. The portfolio includes The Garden City Hotel.

Mr. Smalley is a founding adviser of the Institute for Social Research and Community Engagement (iSoRCE), part of Adelphi University’s Center for Health Innovation. In 2003, he was named a board member of the Adelphi University Alumni Association and went on to hold the position of president. He received the Adelphi University President’s Award for Outstanding Achievement and Friendship in 2005.

He was named Outstanding Alumnus at Adelphi’s 2012 President’s Gala. Mr. Smalley has a bachelor’s in business and communications from Adelphi. He is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York.
