In 1950, the Adelphi University School of Social Work was founded to better the lives of individuals, families, groups and communities. Last year, the School of Social Work celebrated 70 years of cultivating leaders who are advancing the field of social work by being strong advocates for social justice and driving forces for ethical social work practices.

Many colleges and universities were fully remote during the height of the pandemic. In Fall 2020, Adelphi opened to our community. With exhaustive planning, regular testing protocols and almost 100 percent compliance from our students, faculty and staff, our University upheld our mission and provided a safe campus environment throughout the semester.

CategoriesPublished:Farmingdale State College and Adelphi University have launched a streamlined partnership to expand student success. Farmingdale students can now access articulated pathways to continue their graduate studies at Adelphi in four master’s degree programs: Business Analytics, Computer Science, General Psychology (with a human resource management concentration) and Sport Management (offering both in-person and online options).
