Open to students in any major, the program combines interdisciplinary coursework with experiential learning to provide a strong global perspective.<\/p>\n

Through seminars and co-curricular experiences\u2014including cultural excursions, internships<\/a>, study abroad opportunities<\/a>, service projects and activities at the United Nations<\/a>\u2014students develop the knowledge, skills and perspective needed to lead in an interconnected world.<\/p>\n

LGS empowers students to think critically and collaboratively about global challenges while encouraging active engagement in creating positive change locally and worldwide.<\/p>\n

    Learning Beyond the Classroom<\/h2>\n

    Levermore Global Scholars engage in a wide range of experiences that deepen their understanding of global citizenship, social responsibility and civic engagement, including:<\/p>\n

    • Participating in LGS seminars focused on global learning and contemporary issues<\/li>\n
    • Attending United Nations conferences, workshops and events with international leaders and policymakers<\/li>\n
    • Completing community action projects, internships and volunteer initiatives<\/li>\n
    • Exploring international service opportunities and study abroad programs in more than 120 countries<\/li>\n
    • Taking part in cultural excursions and artistic events throughout New York City<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      At the United Nations<\/h2>\n
