{"id":234,"date":"2020-06-28T23:07:09","date_gmt":"2020-06-29T03:07:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.adelphi.edu\/housing\/on-campus-housing\/moving-in-2\/"},"modified":"2026-01-06T08:30:34","modified_gmt":"2026-01-06T13:30:34","slug":"moving-out","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.adelphi.edu\/housing\/on-campus-housing\/moving-out\/","title":{"rendered":"Moving Out"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Residence halls will close according to the following schedule:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Non-graduating students:<\/strong> Residence halls close Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at 12:00 p.m.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Graduating students only:<\/strong> Residence halls close Thursday, May 21, 2026 at 6:00 p.m.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>All residents must check out within 24 hours of their last final examination or by 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 20, 2026\u2014whichever comes first.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Students with final examinations scheduled after 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 20 must receive approval from a professional staff member (Assistant Director) to remain in housing beyond the standard closing time.<\/p>\n<p>Residents will receive detailed closing instructions, including dates, times, and procedures, at least two weeks prior to closing.
