Mission Statement

The mission of the Office of Residential Life and Housing is to house students and support their development in a safe, inclusive community. We encourage a commitment to on-campus leadership, tolerance, and global citizenship through purposeful social and educational opportunities.

Learning Outcomes

Learning Outcome 1: Diversity and Inclusion

Resident students will be able to articulate ways to promote inclusivity, diversity, and belonging in their local communities.

Learning Outcome 2: Communication and Problem-Solving

In order to foster student resilience and persistence, resident students will be able to assess concerns within their environment and effectively articulate solutions without external familial support.

Learning Outcome 3: Life Skills

Resident students will be able to apply new skills taught through programmatic efforts to develop holistically in areas such as self-advocacy, leadership, wellness, and critical thinking to become global citizens beyond the institution.
