You\u2019ll explore writing as both art and skill\u2014learning to express yourself, communicate clearly, and adapt your voice for college and career success.<\/p>\n<p>Through reading, discussion, and guided workshops, you\u2019ll craft original pieces across genres, from creative stories to personal essays, and complete a polished college essay draft ready for submission.<\/p>\n<p>Graduates of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.adelphi.edu\/program\/undergraduate\/english\/\">English<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.adelphi.edu\/program\/graduate\/creative-writing\/\">Creative Writing<\/a> programs often pursue fulfilling careers in teaching, law, publishing, marketing, journalism, communications, editing, social media, and more.
