Women’s Giving Circle
The Women’s Giving Circle giving $100 or more annually.
The goal of the Adelphi University Women’s Giving Circle is to highlight and promote women’s central role as leaders, creators, philanthropists, developers and managers of creative projects by and for the Adelphi community. The Circle recognizes Adelphi alumnae and friends who are shaping the present and the future of Adelphi University through their volunteer efforts and philanthropic support. Through its collective financial giving, the Circle is committed to enhancing the Adelphi community, forging new relationships, and uniting a diverse group of impactful women philanthropists.
At a glance:
- Members of the Women’s Giving Circle raise awareness and catalyze action around critical issues that affect the Adelphi community.
- Members make annual contributions of $100 or more. Gifts under $100 are acknowledged in a donor roll published on the Women’s Giving Circle website.
- Members meet monthly to engage in meaningful dialogue with University faculty, staff and administration. At the annual grant meeting members determine funding priorities, judge grant applications and award scholarships.
Friendship: $100 to 249.99
Supporter: $250 to 999.99
Leadership: $1,000+
Last 10 years graduates: $100 times number of years since graduation with a complimentary membership for the first year following graduation.
