Celebrating Adelphi\u2019s Firsts<\/h2>\n

Adelphi\u2019s 26th Annual Gala brought our community together for an evening of gratitude, optimism and extraordinary impact.<\/p>\n

The celebration honored the determination and achievements of Adelphi\u2019s first-generation students, welcomed Michael Balboni \u201981, JD<\/a>, as the first alumnus to serve as University president, and recognized the generous donors whose support makes all our firsts possible\u2014including the record-breaking results of the now-concluded Momentum<\/em> campaign<\/a>.<\/p>\n

First-Generation Stories<\/h2>\n

Junior nursing student and Honors College<\/a> member Liana Esau shared what it means to carry her family\u2019s hopes across generations while pursuing opportunities her great-grandmother once dreamed would be possible for her.<\/p>\n
