Corporate compliance has become essential for leaders to understand and address in their firms in the wake of recent ethical issues. In this presentation, Michael Graziano will examine the causes of this unethical behavior and describe how business leaders can work to identify and prevent it from occurring.
Michael L. Graziano was formerly a Managing Director at BNP Paribas based in New York where he was responsible for regulatory compliance matters affecting BNP Paribas’ US-based wholesale banking and securities services operations. In this role, he led a team of Compliance professionals who provided direct advisory support to the US Corporate Banking group, Securities Services group and to the New York-based Treasury function. In addition, he coordinated the compliance-related activities of BNP Paribas’ Branch and Agency network which included activities in Chicago, Dallas, Grand Cayman, Los Angeles and San Francisco. Prior to joining BNP Paribas, Mike held various Compliance positions with banking and securities firms, including senior roles with Citigroup, The Royal Bank of Scotland and China Construction Bank. He received his BA from Adelphi University and his MBA from Fordham University. Mike is currently engaged in various pro bono activities with educational institutions located in the New York metropolitan area.
Fun Fact: A former naval officer, Mike served at sea in destroyers assigned to both the US Atlantic Fleet and US Sixth Fleet.

The Leadership Certificate Program (LCP) offers Adelphi undergraduate and graduate students opportunities to develop leadership and professional skills. Participants attend workshops on a wide variety of topics during the course of the year.
Requirements for Students:
To participate in the Leadership Certificate Program, you must RSVP and attend a minimum of six workshops. Each student must complete the workshops within the academic year.
