Making a card is an easy, fun and important way to contribute to the work that we do to decrease social isolation among seniors. Sometimes, a card from a DOROT volunteer is the only communication an older adult has on special occasions. Now that we are all keeping our distance from one another to protect against COVID-19, a Caring Card is a wonderful way to reach out to a DOROT older adult.
Be sure to RSVP to the event so we know how many participates ahead of time to see if we can make 100 cards!
