Our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.adelphi.edu\/admissions\/\">Office of University Admissions<\/a> encourages you to learn about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.adelphi.edu\/one-stop\/financial-aid\/\">financial aid and scholarships<\/a> and complete and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.adelphi.edu\/admissions\/first-year\/apply\/\">submit an application<\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Your audition or portfolio review will also determine whether you\u2019ll receive one of our several <a href=\"https:\/\/www.adelphi.edu\/one-stop\/save\/scholarships\/institutional-awards\/undergraduate\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">talent scholarships<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Acting Auditions<\/h2>\n<p>Admission to the acting program is by audition. You will present two monologues (2\u20133 minutes each): one classical (Shakespeare, Marlowe, Moli\u00e8re, Greek theatre, etc.) and one contemporary. Auditions also determine eligibility for our talent scholarships.<\/p>\n<p>Your audition will also determine whether you\u2019ll receive one of our several talent scholarships.<span> <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/connect.adelphi.edu\/portal\/theatreaudition\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/connect.adelphi.edu\/portal\/theatreaudition&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1707412247028000&amp;usg=AOvVaw1hNSzKfpmBni0LLD-imvBg\">Register for an audition time<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>National Unified Auditions<\/h3>\n<p>Reserve a slot in advance via <a href=\"mailto:departmentoftheatre@Adelphi.edu\">departmentoftheatre@adelphi.<wbr \/>edu<\/a> for <a href=\"https:\/\/unifiedauditions.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">National Unified Auditions<\/a>. Walk-ins are welcome as availability allows.<\/p>\n<h2>Theatre Design and Technology Portfolio Reviews<\/h2>\n<p>Admission to design or technical theatre is determined by a portfolio review or interview. <span>Please contact the Department of Theatre at <\/span>516.877.4930<span> or <\/span><a href=\"mailto:departmentoftheatre@Adelphi.edu\">departmentoftheatre@adelphi.<wbr \/>edu<\/a> to schedule your portfolio review and interview.<\/p>\n<p>Applicants should prepare:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Written statement of professional goals<\/li>\n<li>Informal photograph<\/li>\n<li>R\u00e9sum\u00e9 of educational and theatre experience<\/li>\n<li>Samples of previous artistic work (drawings, sketches, lighting plots, models, sculpture, or photos)<\/li>\n<li>Stage management candidates: 1\u20133 letters of recommendation or evidence of ability<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Virtual Submissions<\/h2>\n<p>Can\u2019t make it to campus?
