Why did I decide to join the Student Alumni Council?: I decided to join the Council because I wanted to meet the greater Adelphi community & give back to the community.

Why did I decide to join the Student Alumni Council?: I wanted to join the Student Alumni Council, as I find it essential to help current students understand how they impact the university, not just as students, but as alumni when they graduate.

Favorite Aspect of Adelphi: The classes are great and professors are very helpful and supportive. There are a lot of plays, musicals and art shows on campus and sometimes you can meet a well known artist or a singer. Campus is full of greenery, colorful flowers, and cherry blossom trees that makes campus even more beautiful and amazing.
Why did I decide to join the Student Alumni Council?: I decided to join Student Alumni Council as I feel that this is a great platform where I would be able to mingle, get an opportunity to expand my professional connections, and meet new people through workshops, webinars, professional job databases and career coaching. For example, members have opportunities to take part in social events and Spirit Weekend. I hope to connect with classmates as well as other alumni, and make connections that could lead to long lasting relationships.

Favorite Aspect of Adelphi: I love how everyone is so welcoming, whether it is at clubs and organizations, offices on campus, in class, and professors.
Why did I decide to join the Student Alumni Council?: I decided to join the Student Alumni Council because I enjoy networking with alumni and have had really good experiences guiding alumni through campus at different activities. Talking to alumni even before joining the Student Alumni Council gave me good ideas of how I can still be involved after graduating.

Favorite Aspect of Adelphi: My favorite aspect of Adelphi is the countless opportunities the university provides for personal and professional growth. I am grateful for the sense of community I have found through clubs and organizations as well as the development of essential skills for my future career.
Why did I decide to join the Student Alumni Council?: I decided to join the Student Alumni Council to help students build and strengthen connections with alumni so they are confident in pursuing their goals in the future. Alumni can give current students a glimpse of all they can achieve, and alumni feel empowered knowing that they can inspire students to strive for their goals.

Why did I decide to join the Student Alumni Council? I decided to join the Student Alumni Council because it creates a great platform where I would be able to explore and get involved in the University. Favorite Aspect of Adelphi: My favorite aspect of Adelphi is the diversity on campus. There is an opportunity to meet students from different parts of the world and to learn about their culture and tradition. Apart from that, professors are dedicated to the commitment of students’ success through small classes, hands-on learning, and innovative programs.
Why did I decide to join the Student Alumni Council?: Being a part of the Student Alumni Council will allow me to expand my leadership and networking skills by meeting with alumni and the luminaries of Adelphi University. This gives me a great chance to develop a network with alumni from my major and get to know more about the Adelphi community.

Favorite Aspect of Adelphi: Adelphi University has a beautiful campus. In particular, the cherry blossoms that bloom from the end of March to May are pretty, and you can see rabbits and squirrels on campus. I like walking on campus when I have free time.
Why did I decide to join the Student Alumni Council?: By participating on the Student Alumni Council, I can develop leadership and communication skills. It can also serve as a link between current students and alumni.
