Advising begins when students first register for classes and continues through graduation. Throughout this journey, advisers help students clarify goals, make informed decisions and take an active role in shaping their education.<\/p>\n

Advising begins when students first register for classes and continues through graduation. Our ePlanner<\/a>, powered by Stellic, gives students a clear, real-time view of their degree requirements, helps them map out future semesters, and supports informed decision-making. Advisers use Stellic to track progress, provide guidance, and help students make purposeful choices based on their goals.<\/p>\n

Undergraduates receive support from multiple sources\u2014faculty advisers, academic advisers within their school or college, and the Office of Academic Services and Retention. Every student is assigned an academic adviser<\/a>, and all full-time faculty hold weekly office hours to support students and offer accurate academic guidance. The Office of Pre-Professional Advising and Fellowships<\/a> also assists students pursuing pathways in law, medicine, health professions, engineering and related fields.<\/p>\n

While advisers must approve student schedules before registration, advising is much more than choosing classes. It is an ongoing partnership focused on academic progress, personal development and long-term success.<\/p>\n
