LGS at the Clothesline Project
October 23, 2011 to October 26, 2011
University Center Ballroom Room 203
The Clothesline Project is a visual display of shirts that have been designed to show support for survivors and victims of gender-based violence (e.g., domestic violence, rape, child abuse, trafficking, LGBT violence, etc.). As part of Adelphi's End Gendered Violence Campaign, this event aimed to educate the community about gender-based violence, celebrate those who have survived gender-based violence, commemorate those victims who have not survived such violence, and provide support and a sense of community on campus.
