Behind the Scenes of a Live NHL Broadcast C.O.A.C.H. Program

Three students got to see first-hand what goes into televising a live sporting event as part of Adelphi’s "COACH: Behind the Scenes of an NHL Live Broadcast." Jeff Simon ’80 BA, a director at NBC Sports invited the students into the NBC production truck at Nassau Coliseum to watch the action of a live broadcast—directed by Mr. Simon. The students, Dan Ennis, Erin Lounsbury, and Joe Cornacchioli also gained career tips and guidance on the field of television production. The C•O•A•C•H Program pairs Adelphi students with alumni employed in their chosen field, who offer them insight into their respective industries, career advice, and mentorship.
