Parent Brunch and Reception

Little Shop of Horrors

March 31, 2012

On Saturday, March 31, Adelphi Parents had the opportunity to meet University administrators and "fellow" parents at the annual reception. Parents enjoyed delicious food before attending a very entertaining and exceptional performance of Little Shop of Horrors. A very talented student cast mesmerized the audience as Audrey II, the fly trap plant, consumed various characters during this stellar production. The set, created by technical design and acting majors in the Performing Arts program, was remarkable. Parents who attended remarked that It was a very enjoyable evening.

Parent Brunch Reception
On April 26, more than 60 parents attended the Parent Brunch Reception and mainstage matinee performance of the Stage Door. In addition to the delicious brunch, attendees enjoyed songs beautifully performed by fellow parent Soh Young Lee Segredo, accompanied by pianist Chuk Fowler. During the reception, parents joined in a dedication of the Parents Association brick on the plaza outside the Performing Arts Center. The message on the brick reflects the mission of the Association on behalf of parents past, present and future:
