College is much different from high school. Your son or daughter will have new freedoms as well as added responsibilities, and will be encouraged as a college student to become more independent. However, parents can help guide their student to meet deadlines and address requirements. The following dates and deadlines will give you the information to help them stay on target.
Academic Calendar
To meet obligations to drop or add a class, apply for graduation and other requirements, students should visit the Academic Calendar for dates and deadlines.
FAFSA Filing Date
FAFSA priority filing deadline is February 15, 2012, for returning student and March 1, 2012, for new students. File before the deadline for maximum consideration for campus-based sources of financial aid. More info... |
Insurance Waiver Deadline
IMPORTANT! Residential and International Students are automatically enrolled and charged for the University Student Health insurance. Any student who is covered by another policy and does not require University Student Health insurance must submit an Insurance Waiver by the following semester deadlines:
October 15, 2011 for students starting in fall 2011
March 15, 2012 for students staring in spring 2012
