Second Annual Master Seminar
Social and Emotional Development of Infants and Young Children: The Critical Influence of Early Interaction
Friday, October 17, 2008
We enthusiastically invite professionals in the field to participate in a profound day of learning and thinking with the dynamic clinician, writer ,and researcher Dr. Ed Tronick. An internationally recognized expert on child development, his unique perspective as both a renowned researcher and an esteemed clinician provides a distinctive power to his work. The training will provide an opportunity for discussion of why some infants, children, and adults are robust in the face of challenges while others seem fragile, how self-regulation and mutual regulation are related to developmental processes in early childhood, and how the interactions of daily life can promote resilience in infants and young children.
