Advanced Certificate Program in Parent Education
October 6, 2009–June 15, 2010
This certificate program is an intensive training program designed for the experienced parent educator and/or clinician who is working with parents. Its goal is to promote a deepened understanding of the theories, values, and principles that inform this work.

Participants will build a solid foundation of knowledge regarding the development of families along a variety of continuums. Seminars will also focus on the development of the parent-child relationship and the development of families.





Professional Development and Continuing Education
The Institute for Parenting offers professional development and continuing education workshops for students and practicing professionals throughout the year. Attendees can earn continuing education credits (CE's) in many fields, including Social Work, Education, Psychology, and Nursing.


Programs for Parents
The Institute for Parenting hosts special programs for parents to support, educate, and inspire the parents in our community.
