Michael Phelps Lecture
The Office of Promotion and Outreach provided marketing and promotional services for this event, as well as day-of-event support. A crowd of over 2,000 guests made it one of the largest events in Adelphi University's history.

Accepted Student Campaign
To assist the Office of Admissions at a critical point in the recruitment cycle, Promotion and Outreach engaged in an Accepted Student Campaign. Through email and phone call tactics, we achieved a 25% conversion rate.

Hamlet
Middle and high school students were invited to a student-directed production of Hamlet. The Honors College, Office of Admissions, Performing Arts, and Promotion and Outreach units worked together to build an audience for this event. While on campus, guests saw the production, had a discussion with the student cast, and participated in a campus tour and information session.

M.F.A. Market Research
To assist in developing future marketing plans, Promotion and Outreach conducted market research with current M.F.A. students in the spring of 2009. After recruiting and interviewing M.F.A. students, we compiled an extensive report of findings and recommendations.

Freshman Publications Series
In fall 2008, after extensive market research, concept development, and collaboration with the Office of Admissions, the Office of Promotion and Outreach rolled out its “This could change everything” series of freshman recruitment publications, focusing on the transformative nature of an Adelphi education. Viewbooks, applications, financial aid brochures, and various other pieces are included in this award-winning series.

Transfer Newsletter Series
One of a number of newsletters produced by the Office of Promotion and Outreach, the Transfer Newsletter is sent to prospective transfer students and key administrators and colleagues at area community colleges twice yearly. The Office of Promotion and Outreach coordinates the writing, research, design, and printing of this publication.

Be Part of It Campaign
To raise awareness of the opening of two new buildings, the Performing Arts Center and the Center for Recreation and Sports, Promotion and Outreach developed a comprehensive campaign to address internal and external audiences. Internal audiences were engaged through pole banners, giveaways, and on-campus events, while external audiences were addressed through various media including radio and print advertisements.
