The interdisciplinary teams will facilitate team building and leadership operations and finance by providing training in:
- management and leadership skills;
- collaborative decision-making techniques and communication skills;
- strategic planning;
- mission statements and bylaws development;
- consensus building and conflict resolution;
- Total Quality Management (TQM);
- performance-driven budgeting models;
- technology-based budget systems;
- identifying funding sources; and
- aligning resources with goals, program development, and resources.
outreach and capacity-building for parents
The interdisciplinary teams will facilitate empowerment and capacity-building for parents by:
- developing a profile of the targeted parent community;
- offering parent-to-parent empowerment training activities;
- serving as liaisons with community resources; and
- encouraging parents to view themselves as stakeholders.
