Don Crocker is the Executive Director/CEO of the Support Center for Nonprofit Management. He has more than 20 years experience in the nonprofit and philanthropic sectors and is nationally recognized as a leader in the philanthropic sector and as a consultant for nonprofit organizations and foundations. His areas of expertise include organizational resilience, board effectiveness, leadership development, and executive transitions.
A small sampling of the foundations and corporations Don has worked with include the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the Westchester and Princeton Area Community Foundations, the Prudential Foundation, United Way of New York City, Rockefeller Philanthropy Associates, and JPMorganChase Foundation. Don and the Support Center host six to seven "New Strategies in Grantmaking"Meet the Grantmakers sessions each year, bringing together nonprofits and grantmakers to expand mutual understanding and improve working relationships.
Don holds an M.S. in Leadership and Strategic Management from Manhattanville College and a B.A in Psychology from Queens College of the City University of New York. He serves on the New York Times Nonprofit Excellence Awards selection committee and is an adjunct professor in the graduate division of NYU's Heyman Center for Philanthropy and Fundraising in New York. |
