Ruth S. Ammon School of Education

The Ruth S. Ammon School of Education at the Manhattan Center offers a range of options to meet the requirements for New York State licensure. You can:

change your career by completing the requirements for teacher certification.
increase your marketability by extending your base certification to other areas
enhance your educational opportunities by getting an educational leadership certificate
study for dual certification.

The Manhattan Center allows you to:

earn your Master's degree at an accelerated rate
take conveniently scheduled weekend classes

Scholarships and financial support are available for students pursuing programs in secondary education in math, science and in TESOL/bilingual education.
