We are pleased to announce that applications for Adelphi University's Building Bridges graduate scholarship program are available online at: teachnycprograms.net.

Building Bridges is a graduate teacher training program that will lead to certification in secondary math and science; and TESOL (all grades). Selective applicants will receive a scholarship that will support full tuition costs. With the exception of one course all classes will be conducted at the Adelphi Manhattan Center.

Through Building Bridges, an innovative partnership between Adelphi University and the New York City Department of Education, students will have the opportunity to receive a full scholarship in exchange for their commitment to teach in a New York City public school. These limited scholarships are only applicable to students pursuing programs in mathematics, science, and TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages).
