Adelphi’s Manhattan Center is now offering an accelerated cohort model for the Master of Arts in Educational Technology.
The Accelerated M.A.in Educational Technology is a 14-month blended format Master’s degree program that combines intensive in-person summer, weekend, and winter courses with semester-long online courses during the academic year. Summer Session 1 features a “technology institute,” focusing on hands-on core technology skills. In Summer Session 2, students complete their school-based practicum, or non-school fieldwork. Like the Garden City programs, there will be a certification track for licensed NYS teachers, as well as a non-certification track.
This intensive Master’s program is ideal for both in-service teachers who have time in the summer to dedicate to their studies, as well as graduates with bachelor degrees in education who need a M.A. to achieve their professional certification.
