Ready, Set, Focus…..Head Your Board in the Right Direction
Ever say or think this about your board?
- My board’s not a fundraising board
- They’re all volunteers; you can’t expect too much
- They don’t all come to meetings
- They come to meetings but aren’t really engaged
- All I want the board to do is raise money
- They’re all busy people
- We don’t have a diversified board; we don’t have any young people on our board
- They’re too involved in the day to day and want to manage everything
- The board wants to help but just doesn’t know what to do during times like these
If you thought it…if you said it…. do something about it!
Point your board in the right direction this fall.
Arm board members with tools for your most productive year ever, even now.
The Long Island Center for Nonprofit Leadership will offer a two-hour, interactive program for board members. Attend the program, then return to the full board and share what you’ve learned.
$25 per organization (includes the executive and two board members)
Sign-in and networking from 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Each program runs from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Coffee and dessert will be served.
