Study Abroad |
A true Global Scholar has a meaningful experience of living, studying and volunteering or interning abroad. Therefore, LGS places special emphasis on encouraging its scholars to participate in various summer or semester-based study abroad programs. These opportunities enhance students’ understanding of challenges facing the world and develop leadership skills needed to stay on top of global social and market changes. In particular, LGS assists its scholars in identifying appropriate study abroad program, transferring credits and courses, and applying for a provost study abroad scholarship.
LGS Winter Intersession Course in Costa Rica
Travel to Costa Rica and explore the interconnections between contemporary peace building, human rights and sustainable development through this course offered in partnership with the United Nations’ University for Peace.

Our Study Abroad Program offers you the opportunity to study abroad at many locations around the world.
Study Abroad Scholarships
Once the Levermore Scholar is admitted to a specific global internship (outside the US) or study abroad, the LGS prepares a strong recommendation for the Provost study abroad scholarship. LGS helps the Levermore Scholar to secure an Adelphi scholarship that will assist the student with meeting the costs of studies and/or interning abroad.
