Invitation to Koin Us

Dear Prospective Scholar:

I would like to invite you to join an exciting leadership program at Adelphi University: Levermore Global Scholars Program.

Through global learning and civic engagement the Levermore Global Scholars Program prepares you to become a future Change Leader who understands the complexity of today's world, has an ability to develop original ideas and has professional skills and personal charisma to turn these ideas into positive changes to the benefit of all.

The Levermore Global Scholars Program integrates multidisciplinary studies in arts, humanities and sciences with enriching practical experience gained through an active community engagement, participation in internships in Long Island, New York City, Washington D.C. and study abroad in many countries abroad.

While studying in the Levermore Global Scholars Program participants take a normal course load and select an approved Adelphi major/minor. The program complements students’ work within their majors with small, interdisciplinary, discussion-based and writing intensive Levermore Seminars combined with community service work and professional internships in various fields: human rights, minority rights, migration, refugees, environment, national and international politics, sport and recreation, arts and culture, education, children and youth, gender issues, business, media and journalism, public health and many more.

If you wish to apply to this program, please complete the Adelphi University application for admission and check the appropriate box for the Levermore Global Scholars Program. Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at bartkowski@adelphi.edu or 516.877.4190.

Best wishes,

Dr. Maciej Bartkowski
Director, Levermore Global Scholars Program
