About the Organization:
The Success Charter Network Intern Program was founded to inspire and train the rising generation of education leaders committed to social justice and education reform.

Interns have the exciting opportunity to get involved in the building of educational infrastructure from the ground up. The environment at Success Charter Network is dynamic and fast-paced, and interns are encouraged to take initiative and to think creatively. Opportunities are available in finance and operations, external affairs, student and teacher recruitment, and instruction.

Specifically, interns will assist with the planning of school events, with helping teachers prepare their classroom materials for the coming year, with preparing press releases, with non-instructional school operations (e.g. school facilities), with recruiting students and teachers for future schools, with preparing marketing materials, with budgeting and accounting, and with interfacing with parents and educational leaders from the community.

This is an exciting opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a growing movement in educational reform in New York City. Interns will come away from their experience with a deeper understanding of the charter school movement and with the rewarding feeling that comes from creating educational opportunities for children.
