Research Intern:
Long Island Wins seeks a Research Intern to help investigate a range of immigration policy issues. Working under the direction of the Campaign Director, the Research Intern will be an integral part of this non-partisan, non-profit organization.  

LONG ISLAND WINS, a public information campaign, is driven by the belief that immigration creates incredible opportunities for economic, cultural, and social growth.   As immigrants to this country renew the American dream, they improve the quality of life for all of us.  In order to foster positive attitudes toward immigrants, we carry out education and outreach to:

• Highlight the contributions of immigrants.
• Enhance the public perception of immigrants.
• Build support for public and private immigration initiatives that benefit all residents of Long Island.

We are seeking a Research Intern to assist with the following tasks:

Researching policy issues and legislation relevant to immigration issues, preparing memos based on this research
