In their junior year, LGS Scholars take at least one LGS seminar per semester. The LGS seminars are offered in different disciplines and are designed to examine in detail the specific contemporary political, social, economic and cultural issues from a global perspective. LGS seminars in the arts, sciences, social sciences and humanities meet the Adelphi general education requirements. During the seminars LGS Scholars continue their group-work on selected LGS concentration topics.

During the academic year, LGS Scholars are strongly encouraged to go for a semester, Winter, or Summer with a study abroad program or undertake credited LGS community internships.
