Alternative Spring Break- Community Service "Costa Rica"
Program Evaluation
The Alternative Spring Break progarm was developed as component of the Volunteer Services Program, which currently houses the Freshman Community Action Program (FCAP) and will be the future home of the Volunteer Resource Network. The Alternative Spring Break program was created to allow our students the opportunity to perform meaningful community service, and expose them to environmental, cultural and economic concerns in Costa Rica. We also anticipated that Adelphi students would enhance their respect for cultural difference and poverty. The program was offered during March 9th thru March 14, 2008, Adelphi's Spring Break.
