Adelphi Creates the Alice Brown Early Learning Center Fund, Joseph Vigilante Fund, and George Stricker Fund in Psychology to Support Important Academic and Community Outreach Initiatives
In honor of the individuals who have shaped its past, Adelphi has initiated three ambitious fundraising efforts to ensure that their commitment to excellence extends far into the future.

The Alice Brown Early Learning Center Fund seeks to raise $4 million to support a sorely needed new building to house Adelphi's current pre-school program for the children of faculty, students, and area residents. The new center will be named for Alice Brown M.A. '85, the long-time director of Adelphi's existing Child Activity Center. |

Through the Joseph Vigilante Fund, Adelphi seeks to raise $2 million to continue the legacy of innovation and dedication to social justice left by its longstanding former School of Social Work Dean and Professor. The fund will support School of Social Work student scholarships, faculty development, and community partnerships. |
