Overview: Directed a $1.2 million initiative for gifted and talented minority youth attending top-tier accredited independent schools across the country. The program, staffed by educators, counselors and social workers, addressed the psychological, social, and educational needs of gifted and talented adolescents through assessment, crisis counseling and outreach; substance abuse assessments and violence prevention groups.

Overview: Managed the service delivery for over 200 foster care cases; provided oversight of assessment and diagnosis, treatment planning service coordination and court preparation; secured funding for program sustainability, and facilitated staff training and development.

Community research project commissioned to develop a needs assessment and asset map to identify critical areas of need and opportunities for development to enhance access to services regarding perinatal and infant health and well being.

Catholic Charities' Man-Up! Fatherhood Program, Brooklyn, New York (12/2010 to 1/2011). Using a small grant from Catholic Charities, wrote the NYC Department of Youth & Community Development Fatherhood Program, PIN: 26012FATHRFP resulting in recertification of the program to serve non-custodial fathers.

EDI Project, The Early Years Institute (EYI), Plainview, NY, 1/10 to 12/10. Community research project commissioned to develop a community leadership team and conduct a community asset mapping project on identified resources that enhance school readiness for young children and improve their overall well-being.

Fahs-Beck Fund, New York Community Trust, 2007-2008 to explore the legacy outcomes of Civil Rights on current levels of civic engagement in urban communities.
