Dr. Smith has served in a number of clinical, managerial, teaching and executive roles in nursing over the span of her career. Prior to joining Adelphi, she was the Corporate Vice President for Nursing Education at a large multi-facility health care system. Additionally, Dr. Smith was the Chief Learning Officer at a multi-hospital healthcare system in the south east where she was responsible for all employee educational programming and leadership development .
