Personal StatementI have been an educator throughout my career serving as an elementary level teacher, elementary, middle and high school counselor and central and building administrator in K-12 school districts. I have experienced the changes that technology produced in the field of education K-12. I believe that aspiring administrators in the Educational Leadership and Technology program should be technologically adept to lead and be role models for their staff. A faculty empowered with technology skills can contribute to their students' achievement.

Grants / Sponsored Research2001:The College Board provided a grant for survey research culminating in my dissertation "Computers and School Counselors: A National Survey".
2002:East Meadow Teacher Center Mini-Grant to attend a national conference to support the development of a course for assisting school counselors to integrate their work with technology.
2008:School of Education Technology Committee grant for video camcorders to be used by the aspiring administrators.
