Mission Statement
The Office of Conference Services strives to provide guests with a professional, comfortable, pleasant and efficient conference experience. We host a variety of events and activities to suit a diverse clientele. From summer sports camps to private business conferences, Adelphi University is an excellent venue to host an event. Our conference staff will work diligently to provide an exceptional experience. Our office embodies the principles of integrity and diversity in an ethical and professional business environment.
Convenient Location
Adelphi University was founded in 1896 as the first coeducational college in New York State. With its main campus in Garden City and satellite campuses in New York City and Eastern Long Island. Adelphi University's beautiful 75 acre campus is conveniently located in the historic village of Garden City on Long Island - just a few miles from some of Long Island's most beautiful beaches, parks, and cultural centers. The University is 20 miles east of New York City; minutes from all major Parkways and is less than a half hour away from both LaGuardia and John F. Kennedy International Airports. The Long Island Railroad's Nassau Boulevard station, within walking distance to the University, provides easy access to Adelphi from Manhattan's Pennsylvania Station.
