Mitch Nagler, MA, LMHC is the Director of the Adelphi Social Training Center (STC). STC is a community out-patient clinic that offers group and individual counseling and support services to 15-to-22-year-old individuals with Asperger Syndrome, and their families. Prior to STC, he provided similar services with this age group at the NYU Child Study Center's Asperger Institute.
Since 2006, Mitch has been the Coordinator of the Bridges Project, which provides on campus support services to college students with Asperger's and other related conditions at Adelphi University, C.W. Post Long Island University, Queensboro Community College, Manhattanville College, and Pace University. The Bridges Project is funded by the Jewish Child Care Association. Mitch is also affiliated with the Asperger Center for Education and Training whose mission is to present evidence-based, practical, current information about Asperger Syndrome and related conditions and appropriate treatments, and to develop and provide innovative services to the community of children and adults with Asperger Syndrome, and their families.
Mitch also has a clinical practice in New York City and Merrick, NY, which provides specialized clinical and educational counseling and support services for individuals with Asperger Syndrome and other related conditions.
