A Letter from President Scott
January 2008

Dr. Robert A. Scott
Dr. Robert A. Scott
As I write to you, the University is bustling with activity and our students are working hard alongside our faculty. However, we know that spring is not that far away, and with it comes Commencement – when graduates close one chapter and open another. Adelphi's 112th Commencement ceremonies will be held on May 18th and 19th.

The Doctoral Hooding ceremony will be held on Sunday, May 18th at 4:30 PM on the Garden City Campus. The full University Commencement ceremony will be held on Monday, May 19th at 10:00 AM at Nassau Coliseum in Hempstead, NY. The Coliseum has proved to be a successful venue for the past three Commencement ceremonies, offering ample parking, comfortable seats, and a spirited atmosphere. The abundant seating means that each graduate will be able to receive up to six free tickets for guests. Additional details about the ceremony, schedule, and ticketing will follow. In the meantime, I invite you to mark Adelphi’s 112th Commencement on your calendar.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Robert A. Scott
President
