The Humanitarian
Major: Philosophy
Hometown: Queens, New York
Why I Chose Adelphi: I chose Adelphi mainly because of the Honors program. I was very impressed after speaking with Dean Garner during my interview, and four years later, I know that I made the right decision because of how challenging and rewarding my academic experience has been.
Future Plans: Beginning 27 months of service as a Peace Corps volunteer and English teacher in September 2009
Activities/Jobs At Adelphi: Resident Assistant in Earle Hall, member of Omicron Delta Kappa, member of the Philosophy Film Series Planning Committee, and member of the Pre-Law Society. Tutor in the Learning Center and office assistant in the Philosophy Department. Summer employment includes work as a legal assistant for a labor law firm in Manhattan’s financial district.
Thing I'd Most Like To Be Remembered For: Being a positive influence on my younger sister
In 10 Years, I Will Be: Working as an attorney. I am thinking about going into intellectual property law.
