Molly Mason
As in many of my highly resolved, richly worked sculptures, Wave/Sheer embodies a dichotomy. The stainless steel “Sheer” sculptural form presents an imposing yet nuanced sense of energy: a persona. The contrasting, encircling “Wave” form, in aquamarine aluminum, is subtly surfaced to create a luminous, watery depth within this fluid, dynamic form.
